Una and Rita receive top awards. |

Last Saturday night in the Burlington Hotel two stalwarts of Railway Union received two top awards at the Irish Hockey Awards.
Una McCarthy won the Category of Coach of the Year for her outstanding work as Railway Union Head Coach and for Coaching the Irish U16 Girls to Bronze Medals at the EuroHockey Youth Nations Championships last July.

Rita Parsons was awarded the inaugural President's Award for her outstanding, longstanding services to the sport. As all members in Railway are more than aware there is rarely a hockey event held that Rita is not helping to organise or attending.
The club would like to congratulate both Una and Rita on their achievements. |
