After being promoted last year the 2nds goal for the year was to finish in the top 5. This year we set a new record with an unprecedented amount of league draws. We enjoyed some great wins beating top teams like Hermes 2-1 and overcoming a tough Pembroke side 1-0. However we failed to beat some of the weaker teams only picking up draws. The Irish Junior Cup brought a trip Cork. We went 1-0 down early on against Cork Harlequinns but came back to equalize in the dying minutes to lead to extra time. An unfortunate short corner gave the opposition that all important golden goal. A great trip was had by all particularly with synchronized swimming and Catriona’s interesting ‘hand’ game!!! A brilliant season and hopefully next year will be as fun! Player of the year: Claire Oubelaid.

| What a year for the seconds!! Right from the beginning things went well for the team and at the end we were rewarded the top spot in Division 3 along with promotion to Division 2! |
