Railway, led by Kate Dillon Queen of the Boards, won the National All-Ireland Indoor League yesterday beating Hermes 7-4 in the final.  This is Railway's first national title, with Kate Dillon getting 5 of goals.  Earlier in the day Railway beat last year's champions Galway 6-2, Kate Dillon getting a hat trick in that game.  Other stars of the boards were our Australian Indoor specialist Claire McGarity and rising star Lisa McCarthy.  Claire Oubelaide commanded the net, conceding very few goals.  Railway will represent Ireland next year in Europe.

Results: Quarter Final: Railway 3 (Ruth Hutchinson 2, Claire McGarity); Hermes 3.  Hermes won 2-1 on strokes, Hannah de Burgh Whyte scoring the Railway stroke.  Railway runners up in group.

Semi Final: Railway 6 (Kate Dillon 3, Lisa McCarthy 2, Claire McGarity); Galway 2

Final: Railway 7 (Kate Dillon 5, Hannah de Burgh Whyte, Isobel Joyce); Hermes 4.
